Simple guidance on resolution, formats, and color so your print lands exactly as you imagined — 44 inches of pure fidelity.
Image Resolution
Target 300 PPI at the final print size. The PRO-4100 can resolve incredible detail, but it cannot invent detail that is not in your file. Below 150 PPI, large prints soften.

150 PPI minimum
Upscale is not a substitute for resolution
File Formats
TIFF (uncompressed or LZW) is preferred for maximum fidelity. High-quality JPEG (12) is acceptable. PNG works for graphics. Avoid HEIC, screenshots, and embedded images in documents.

Color Profiles
Embed an ICC profile — sRGB is safe, Adobe RGB preserves more gamut. We convert to our Canon LUCIA PRO 12-color ink set. Avoid CMYK files; RGB gives us the widest range to work from.

Sizing & Bleed
Size your file to the exact output dimensions. For a bleed (image to edge), extend artwork past trim. For a white border, either build it into the file or select it in the configurator.
